Fine wines tasting

Twenty renowned Italian wineries and four local distributors. A selection of the best Italian wines. Many of these wines are not available in South Africa yet, thus the event is a unique opportunity to taste and discover them.

Italian Chef Lorenzo Cantoni

Chef Lorenzo Cantoni, best chef Airo 2021, will cook some of his most famous dishes during live demonstrations followed by tastings. His demonstrations will be accompanied by the nutritionist Marina Carcea, who will provide important nutritional information on the products used and will present the benefits and peculiar characteristics of the Mediterranean diet.

Oenologist Matteo Marangon

Italian oenologist Matteo Marangon will also be present. He will talk about circular economy and sustainability in the wine sector, with a specific focus on the trends and initiatives that Italy, the largest wine producer in the world, has promoted in recent years.
